Why am I not seeing the actual product line descriptions on my invoice? | Purchase Plus Help Documents

Understanding the difference between how invoices are read.

Written by The Customer Success Team

Invoices received through Purchase Plus via our Paperless Invoicing module can be transmitted in two different formats: ePDF or Scanned Paper Invoice.

ePDF format invoices are electronically readable, allowing users to highlight and copy text directly from the document. On the other hand, Scanned Paper Invoices are typically scanned documents saved as PDFs or lower-quality ePDFs. These may not provide as much detail, often presenting a summary of totals instead of individual line items. However, there is now an option to display the actual invoice line description for scanned invoices, though the accuracy may vary depending on the quality of the scanned documents.

To activate this feature and enhance the detail retrieved from scanned invoices, please contact our support team via chat or email at help@marketboomer.com. While this can improve the visibility of line descriptions, it's important to note that accuracy may still be contingent upon the quality of the scanned documents.

For expedited processing and enhanced detail in invoices, we recommend encouraging your suppliers to utilize the ePDF format whenever possible.
