I am having trouble importing my stock take back into stock location, why am I getting an error message?
Any extra data or information recorded on the stock take export spreadsheet, other than in the designated [count] column, will give you an error message, as below, when you try to import the file back to Purchase Plus.
Note: It is very tempting to add in any extra stock you have found when doing your stock take, but Purchase Plus will not accept any changes or extra information on the original spreadsheet export.
This is a tip to communicate with other departments or teams conducting stock take within your venue, as this is a common occurrence and will save headaches down the track.
Remove any additional data that has been added in, and re-import the file back into your stock location.
Please check out this article, Month End Process & Processing Stocktake, for more information on Stock take processes.
