Learn how to create a Custom Requisition.
A Custom Requisition lets you order ad-hoc items from your Suppliers. You can use a Custom Requisition when none of the other Requisition types are suitable.
1. You can create a Requisition from multiple locations in PurchasePlus.
a. Click [Requisitions] → [New Requisition] from the side navigation bar.
b. Click [Start Shopping] from the Home Dashboard.
c. Click [Purchase Orders] → [New Purchase Order] from the side navigation bar. This will redirect you to a new Requisition.
2. You will arrive at the Create New Purchase Requisition form.
a. Enter a [Reference] to briefly describe the Requisition.
b. Select [Custom Requisition] in the Requisition Type section, this will open more options.
d. Complete all other fields in the Requisition form as required.
e. Click [Create Requisition].
3. Click [Add Product] to add Products to your Custom Requisition.
4. [Search by Name or Brand] of the Product/ Service and create a temporary quote in order to add it to your Requisition.
5. Complete all fields as required, then click [Add to Requisition].
Important: Your Organization must already have an enabled Trade Relationship with any Supplier you intend to order products from in this Requisition. If a Supplier is not yet available, please contact an Administrator at your Organization to have them added.
6. Alternatively, if you can't find the Product you have searched for, you can [Create a New Product] or use [Advanced Search]. Please see our Create a New Product and Advanced Product Search articles to learn more about these options.
7. Complete your Requisition in 'Basic Shopping' mode or 'Advanced Shopping' mode.
- Basic Shopping provides a familiar online shopping experience for users. You can view and select products in a Tile or List View, with each Supplier quote appearing as a separate item.
